WHAT WILL MY GLYCOCHECK RESULTS TELL ME?
Your GlycoCheck assessment looks at several different aspects of your microcirculation. No single measurement tells the whole story.
Together, they provide a picture of how blood is moving through your smallest vessels and how effectively those vessels are being perfused.
Perfused Boundary Region (PBR) — how deeply red blood cells penetrate the boundary region associated with the endothelial glycocalyx.
Capillary Density — how many of your smallest blood vessels are available for blood flow.
Red Blood Cell Velocity — information about the movement and velocity of red blood cells through the microcirculation.
Capillary Blood Volume — an indication of the amount of blood present within the measured microvascular network.
MicroVascular Health Score (MVHS) — a combined score derived from several measurements to help summarize aspects of your microvascular health.
WHAT DO MY RESULTS MEAN FOR ME?
Your GlycoCheck results are not a diagnosis.
They are a way of looking more closely at your microcirculation and
helping you understand what is happening in your smallest blood vessels.
Cindy will review your results with you, explain what the measurements mean,
and discuss questions you may want to consider about supporting your microvascular health.
